I have seen almost all of El Classico. Yes, the result was high, maybe a goal too high, but not much more. The kids had 59% ball possession at the Bernabeu! 15:9 shots on goal. 455:319 passes. Barca were simply better. Sure, if Mbappé has one of his two chances in which he is not offside
stand, put it in, it gets tighter. On the other hand, Lewa had a historic hat trick on his feet – and strangled the thing past the empty goal from five meters.
Incidentally, Mbappé only had 27 ball contacts in the full playing time, won only one of just five duels, was only successful with one of four dribbles, and ran offside eight times (!). Once or twice very close, but otherwise always so clear that you almost have to doubt his qualities…

In the end, a 3-1 win by Barca _in_ Real would also be a fantastic result.
And actually it’s about the Barca project in and of itself. So that 70-80% of the squad consists of U21/U22 players (including three U18s), plus two or three “oldies”, but actually only two players in the “prime football age”. And another German coaching team with hardly any credit in advance (including from me). Then there was a pretty blatant style of play at times, standing extremely high, an offside trap on the halfway line, etc. There was simply courage on all sides.
