Soccer – Freiburg im Breisgau:Hertha with the fifth goalkeeper: SC with a change

Freiburg (dpa) – Due to the numerous corona failures and injuries, Marcel Lotka, the fifth goalkeeper from Hertha BSC, will make his debut in the Bundesliga on Saturday (3.30 p.m. / Sky). “It’s a positively crazy person,” said coach Tayfun Korkut on pay TV broadcaster Sky shortly before the game at SC Freiburg kicked off. “He has his baptism of fire today. I trust him to play well.”
In addition, Dedryck Boyata returns in central defense for the suspended Marc Oliver Kempf and Suat Serdar replaces Santiago Ascacibar. Jurgen Ekkelenkamp, Maximilian Mittelstädt and Dongjun Lee, who have recovered from Corona, are at least back in the Berlin squad.
There is only one change in the hosts compared to the previous week. Jonathan Schmid takes a seat on the bench again. SC coach Christian Streich offers Lukas Kübler as a right-back. The veteran Nils Petersen is allowed to play again in the storm.
