Football EM: Löw brings Müller and Hummels back to the DFB team – national team is in place

Frankfurt / Main – National coach Joachim Löw drives to the European Football Championship with Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels. He announced this on Wednesday at the presentation of the provisional squad.

Both players were actually sorted out in March 2019 as part of a change in the Löw national team.

Specifically, the following players were nominated: Manuel Neuer, Kevin Trapp, Bernd Leno, Antonio Rüdiger, Mats Hummels, Matthias Ginter, Niklas Süle, Emre Can, Lukas Klostermann, Robin Gosens, Robin Koch, Christian Günter, Marcel Halstenberg, Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gündogan , Serge Gnabry, Kai Havertz, Toni Kroos, Leon Goretzka, Timo Werner, Thomas Müller, Leroy Sane, Jonas Hofmann, Jamal Musiala, Florian Neuhaus and Kevin Volland.

Final player lists must be submitted by June 1st. The European Football Championship is to take place from June 11th to July 11th in ten European cities and in Baku. It was actually planned for last year, but was postponed due to Corona. This year, due to the pandemic, 26 instead of the usual 23 players are allowed in the final EM squad.
