The linebacker is particularly impressed by how intensively the US expert is working with the German players. “They support you, know you and give really strong feedback. With their background knowledge, you would never doubt anything.”
For Koschorrek, Seamon’s signing was even a birthday surprise. “That’s when it was reported. “I was very excited right away, I was really happy that we were getting an NFL coach,” says Dresden’s veteran.
“Always in a good mood”
Seamon is not seen as a grumpy coach, but as a guy who can’t keep the smile off his face. “He is always very friendly and is always in a good mood,” says Koschorrek.
Seamon doesn’t want to lose them in the semi-finals on Saturday in front of over 5,000 spectators in Dresden’s new Heinz Steyer Stadium. Nothing stands in the way of the football party.
Good omen: The Monarchs won against Hildesheim in the preliminary round with 45:16. Now Dresden wants to secure their ticket to the German Bowl on October 12th in Essen as favorites.
