So far, neither Munich nor Juve have officially commented on the transfer issue. According to corresponding Italian media reports, the German series champion recently increased his offer for De Ligt to at least 70 million euros, plus bonuses. The player has an exit clause in his contract, which runs until 2024: he can leave Juventus for a transfer fee of 120 million euros.
According to the newspapers “Tuttosport” and “Gazzetta dello Sport”, Bavaria’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic should renegotiate with the Juve bosses from Monday; this is not the first contact. De Ligt’s advisor has been in Turin since Friday – not only because of new signing Paul Pogba, but also to convince the Italian record champions to release De Ligt.
