Dynamo as strong as a bear, Aue surprised, Tasmania thrilled!

From Stefan Bröhl

GermanyThe football season is finally back! In the 2. Bundesliga knew Dynamo Dresden to shine and celebrated a convincing 3-0 victory against FC Ingolstadt 04, which stirs up hope for a quiet season.

The SGD looked good, showed good combinations and a very good early form against the newcomer, who apparently still has to get used to the tactics of the new coach Roberto Pätzold (42).

The home side is completely different, who implemented the offensive route taken by trainer Alexander Schmidt (52) and also found the balance. Because defensively, Dynamo did not allow much against the dangerous storm duo Stefan Kutschke (32) and Dennis Eckert Ayensa (24).

After this appearance, the Dresdeners don’t need to worry about the away game at Hamburger SV, which is, however, a completely different caliber. The Rothosen showed that in the opening game on Friday, when they still won 3-1 at FC Schalke 04 after being 0: 1 behind and showed an excellent performance.

But Schmidt will adjust Dynamo to the strengths of HSV, which is increasingly relying on ball possession, which is why the SGD seems anything but without a chance in this duel.

With Kevin Broll (25) in the box, Tim Knipping (28), Michael Sollbauer (31), Chris Löwe (32) in defense and Yannick Stark (30) in front in midfield, Schmidt has enough experienced defensive players who know exactly how to deal with such an opponent. With fighter Morris Schröter (25) and young savages like Christoph Daferner (23), Julius Kade (22) and Luca Herrmann (22), the mix is also right.

The mood at FC Erzgebirge Aue is also positive. The violets were considered by not a few experts as a candidate for relegation. The departures of the accurate storm duo Pascal Testroet (30) and Florian Krüger (22) were too serious.

But at 1. FC Nürnberg, the team of coach Aleksey Shpilevski (33) fought for every meter, made life extremely difficult for the upgraded hosts and thus earned the 0-0.

The FCE was secure in the back, played forward quickly and forced the home side to be very vigilant throughout. If Aue performs like this in the coming weeks, the chances of a quiet season in the Ore Mountains are good too.

Nevertheless, the violets still have to upgrade in the storm if they want to survive in this strong league for a full season. However, the beginning has been made and it was impressive. With FC St. Pauli, however, a very good opponent is coming to the Erzgebirgsstadion.

At the beginning the Kiezkicker defeated Holstein Kiel well deserved with 3-0 and showed their qualities here sustainably. Can Aue stand up to this opponent?

The Regionalliga Nordost also started the new season and had several surprises in store.

The traditional Berlin club and newcomer SV Tasmania defeated SV Babelsberg 03 completely deservedly 2-0, as the author of these lines was able to experience live in the Mommsenstadion.

It was particularly impressive how cheeky the team of coach Abu Njie (47) acted. The coach had adjusted his team perfectly, because there was absolutely no sense of fear of the backdrop or nervousness of the well-filled opponent at the beginning.

Instead, Tas kept getting good chances, took two and was on the defensive in the end, when the forces clearly weakened despite the cleverly implemented changes.

Former RB Leipzig striker Daniel Frahn (34) could only stage himself once when he scored an offside goal. Otherwise he was completely logged off from Julian Loder (31) and Damir Bektic (24).

But not only the Neukölln people were convincing. VfB Germania Halberstadt shot Hertha BSC II 4-0 straight away, with Elias Löder (21) scoring a dream goal overhead kick. In addition, the young wild ones from FSV Union Fürstenwalde won against VfB Auerbach 4: 2 and brought up promoted FC Eilenburg against BSG Chemie Leipzig 1: 1.

In addition, FSV Optik Rathenow defied VSG Altglienicke (1: 1) and FSV Luckenwalde also took a point from FC Energie Cottbus in the Stadium of Friendship (1: 1). These results promise a lot of excitement for the upcoming English week.
