Wembangomo was an important piece for Kjetil Knutsen, and the success that Bodø/Glimt had in Europe.
In the absence of a pure left-back, Sarping filled in in that place throughout 2022.
According to information from Nettavisen, the plan was for the 26-year-old to switch teams following the passing of Alfons Sampsted after the season that just ended.
On the other hand, international defender Omar Elabdellaoui has arrived, meaning the right-back will, by all accounts, be busy next year.

According to Nettavisen’s sources, it must have caused major disagreements between Wembangomo and the club, meaning the player now wants to leave Bodø.
According to Nettavisen’s knowledge, however, at the moment there should be little willingness to sell the full-back, and Glimt will do everything to refuse the transfer.
This must have created the bad atmosphere between the parties.

Bodø/Glimt’s sports coach Håvard Sakariassen has not yet answered Nettavisen’s questions.
The Glimt player joined the club for free earlier last season and has performed brilliantly in an undisclosed position at times.
Wembangomo and his representatives do not wish to comment on the matter at this time.
It has also recently become known that Lars-Jørgen Salvesen is leaving Bodø/Glimt and that the club has approved a bid from Viking. Elias Hagen is also a profile that should be eager to find a new club.
Nettavisen has it previously reported on IFK Göteborg’s interest in Allsvenskan.
