The arrival of Mauricio Pochettino on the bench of Paris Saint-Germain causes a deluge of rumors before the winter transfer window. And the Paulo Dybala case resurfaces.
PSG hit hard at the start of the winter break by deciding to replace Thomas Tuchel with Mauricio Pochettino, and it is now obvious that the former Tottenham coach will want to give his touch to the Parisian workforce. Nothing better than the winter transfer market to make this update and even if Paris Saint-Germain don’t have more money to spend, the arrival of the Argentinian will cause movement. In Italy, we see the shadow of Pochettino everywhere, and especially around former Spurs players or Argentinian players. It is the latter case which is mentioned this Sunday by the Turin sports daily Tuttosport. The Italian newspaper explains that Leonardo is ready to offer Juventus 60ME to secure the services of Paulo Dybala, the compatriot of the new PSG coach arriving at the end of his contract in June 2022.
Dybala at PSG, Icardi at Juventus?
However, Tuttosport is affirmative, to possibly afford Paulo Dybala, Paris Saint-Germain will have to drop 80 to 90ME. On the side of Andrea Agnelli, we do not really fear the PSG offensive, the boss of Juventus being convinced that the Joya will finally extend his contract with the Old Lady. For this, the Italian club will propose to increase Dybala’s salary from 7.5ME to 12ME per season and that until 2025. Even if he does not remain deaf to the sirens of the transfer window, and therefore of Paris SG Pochettino version, the 27-year-old Argentine striker seems to want to continue his journey in the Juventus jersey, despite fluctuating relations with officials in Turin. And the inclusion or not of Mauro Icardi in a possible deal should not make it possible to conclude an agreement next January.
