On July 1, Olympique de Marseille formalized four departures of players at the end of their contract.
As strongly expected, Valère Germain, Yohann Pelé, Saif-Eddine Khaoui and Yuto Nagatomo are not retained by Jorge Sampaoli and therefore have not received an offer of contract extension. These four starts were expected and do not cause any surprises, although there was a little suspense regarding the Japanese left-back.
Indeed, at the beginning of June, it was indicated that it was not impossible to see Yuto Nagatomo resume training with OM.
