French midfielder Paul Pogba was dropped from Juventus’ starting XI in the Europa League game against Friborg (1-0) last Thursday for a delay in training.
A decision that was justified by Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri as a matter of “respect” for the group. This situation was commented on by former OM and Liverpool striker Djibril Cissé, who chided his compatriot for his lack of professionalism: “I love him Pogba, but you have only just returned to competition. Come half an hour before the scheduled time. Take care. There is always something to do first”.
