Little or no suspense this Saturday at the Jean-Dasnias stadium.
FC Dieppe, sole leader of his group of National 3, easily dominated Bayeux, penultimate in the ranking.
Logic was respected with Guillaume Gonel’s men who quickly took the match on their own, not letting their opponents breathe.
In the visitors’ goals, it took a large Jérémy Bazire to delay the deadline and then to prevent the defeat from turning into a rout for Bayeux.
On the side of FC Dieppe, morale is therefore high, despite a last minute concern.
Indeed, Dylan Bayer injured his shoulder in the warm-up and could not hold his place. It is therefore Frédéric Burel who played the role of guardian and he had no stopping to make, the visitors not framing a single shot.
Guillaume Gonel’s men started the game well and from the 4th minute, Séné passed on to Odumosu who turned around and shot, but Bazire turned away for a corner.
In the next minute, it was Lattuca’s turn to find himself in a good position, but he did not frame his shot.
FC Dieppe is putting the pressure on and will be rewarded for its domination.
Chombart lance Senna, full axis, and the latter fixes and deceives Bazire, to open the scoring with a new home goal (1-0, 21st).
Bayeux did not have time to recover as Dieppe made the break.
It’s practically a carbon copy of the first goal with different players.
So, this time it is Odumosu who ideally launches Chombart who bypasses the forward goalkeeper to score in the empty goal (2-0, 28th).
The FCD is even close to a third achievement, in this first one-sided period, when it is now Odumosu who tests Bazire and the goalkeeper dismisses the foot.
Just before the break, Bayeux gets a free kick and on it, a non-target header does not disturb the local serenity.
FC Dieppe manages
The second half will be much less intense and with significantly fewer chances.
It is true that Guillaume Gonel’s men do not feel threatened by their opponents and manage rather quietly.
Senna, Odumosu and Lattuca, however, have the opportunity to worsen the score, but they are clumsy or have to deal with the return of a defender.
Guillaume Gonel then launches new blood and his changes could almost have paid off.
Maconda, in place of Chombart, thus obtains two good chances, but each time, Bazire deflects the foot.
FC Dieppe logically wins (2-0) and consolidates its chair before two trips to Cherbourg, then to Oissel.
