Ukrainian benefactors handed over humanitarian aid to the Dnipro and Nikopol districts of the region. A total of 200 large social boxes with products and hygiene items. And hundreds of breakfast cereals, thousands of soups, protein bars, water, baby juices. Fire extinguishers for rescuers.
“When caring is a lifestyle. Thank you to the Hope UA Charitable Foundation for the overwhelming humanitarian support. We had only one conversation and got such a cool result. Together, the humanitarian aid was handed over to two regions of the region – Dnipro and Nikopol region,” said Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.
Aid will be distributed among those who need it most. First of all, social packages will be given to local residents from vulnerable categories and immigrants. The shipment contains 200 large humanitarian kits.
Each is enough for a family of three for a month. There are cereals, pasta, sunflower oil, stew, mashed potatoes, chocolate and other sweets. And hygiene items. In total, there are almost four dozen positions. Part of it comes from import partners. Some are domestic.
Separately, breakfast cereals, soups, protein bars, children’s juices and water are included. Three hundred fire extinguishers for the employees of the State Emergency Service.
“We spoke with the head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Serhiy Lysak. He announced that there is an urgent need to help the civilians of Dnipropetrovsk region. So they responded without hesitation. We organized kits with basic products,” said Roman Hrynkevich, head of the Hope UA charity fund.
He said that his team was formed on the first day of the full-scale invasion, February 24. The charity fund was officially registered a little later. Currently they cooperate with Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk OVA. Philanthropists helped victims of a rocket attack on a high-rise building in Dnipro with food. More than 100 sets were handed over.
Now the humanitarian award was presented to the representatives of the Nikopol and Dnipro districts.
“The help is very appropriate. Because our district is one of those that suffers from armed aggression. I am sure that both the local residents and the immigrants we sheltered will be very grateful. We will distribute food kits among residents who have fallen into difficult circumstances,” emphasized Yevhen Yevtushenko, head of the Nikopol RVA.
He added that we are talking about people with disabilities, single pensioners, large and low-income families, orphans. And also the families of those killed in the war.
