Follow-up – Ali Mualla:
The appearance of white hair starts from the age of 20 to 50 years, and the genetic factor, in addition to other factors such as stress, emotional trauma, and an unbalanced diet, is due to the appearance of white hair.
Studies have indicated that the appearance of white hair begins when the supply of active cells and sleeper cells responsible for the original hair color ends, and the hair loses its color and turns white.
Among the foods that delay the onset of gray hair:
1. Proteins.
Eating white meat, fish, legumes, and eggs plays an essential role in maintaining healthy hair and keeping the specter of aging away from it.
2. Vitamins.
Eating vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins A, C, and E, such as green vegetables, citrus fruits, carrots, and pumpkin, plays a key role in helping cells regenerate and strengthen hair.
3. Nuts and legumes.
These foods are very rich in vitamins and minerals, especially zinc, which promotes hair growth and protects it from premature graying.
