From the end of spring in Ukraine, the price of some foodstuffs may significantly decrease, in particular for milk, eggs and meat.
This opinion was expressed by an economic expert Boris Kushniruk on air “Ukraine 24“. In his opinion, the seasonal factor will have an impact on prices.
Today, as the expert specified, the rise in fuel prices automatically leads to a rise in prices for other raw materials.
“The very fact of the rise in fuel prices reflects the general rise in prices for goods. And if we add to this that we have raised the minimum wage, then all this provokes a rise in prices,” said Kushniruk.
According to him, from the end of spring a new harvest of vegetables and fruits will begin, which will lead to a decrease in prices.
“It should also be borne in mind that this year’s harvest, apparently, will be good for the main crops. This will also contribute to a decrease, since grain occupies a significant share in feed, respectively, eggs and meat will be cheaper,” the expert noted.
As reported OBOZREVATEL, in Ukraine almost all products have risen in price… Among the leaders in the jump in price are sugar (by 46%), buckwheat (35%), eggs (30%), sunflower oil (by 22%) and apples (11.4%). According to experts, prices should stabilize by the end of March.
