Kannur: Food poisoning in Payyannur. Those who ate ice cream, snacks etc. from the festival grounds got food poisoning. More than 100 people, including children, were admitted to various hospitals in Payyannur due to physical disturbances including vomiting.
Those who ate ice cream from Korothe Perungaliatta Nagari, which concluded the other day, sought treatment at the hospital due to physical discomfort. Most of those under treatment are children. It is reported that nobody’s condition is serious. The Food Safety Department has started an investigation into the incident.
