De Groot gave his account following a article in newspaper Trouw, which states that an average Dutch household spares the farmers sector with 500 euros per year.
My conclusions:

According to the D66 climate guru, the actual costs for the taxpayer are even higher due to nature restoration. The daily shopping is currently too cheap, so according to De Groot the prices in the supermarket should increase.
