Madison Square Garden in New York is ready to rock and roll again.
MSG Entertainment announced that Foo Fighters will shake up the famous venue with a concert on June 20, which will be the first to be held at the venue in more than 460 days.
The MSG said that the concert, to which only people who verify that they already have their complete vaccination scheme against covid-19 will be able to enter, will be the first to be carried out at 100% of its capacity since the pandemic began.
For those who want to attend the show, tickets will be available from this Friday.
We have been waiting for this day for over a year. “And Madison Square Garden is going to feel that strongly,” Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said in a statement.
Foo Fighters headlined their first concert at Madison Square Garden in 2008. The last time they were able to please the venue’s audience was in 2018.
The band made the announcement through their social networks, which immediately provoked comments of approval from their followers.
The show is part of the reactivation of the shows after the pandemic.
