Fontainebleau Las Vegas Unveils 2024 New Year’s Eve Ball with Bow-Tie Patterns and Special Performances by Paul Anka

A few days before the iconic New Year’s celebration in Times Square, they unveil the ball that this year will light up the sky at midnight on January 1st.

This year the sphere will have a lighting pattern that will reflect bowties.

And this in honor of the figure formed by the two triangular plazas of Times Square, and the iconic logo of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort, which this year is sponsoring the celebration.

The hotel chain will hand out bow-shaped glasses and a commemorative coin to all those attending the New Year’s party.

The well-known singer Paul Anka, who was present during the unveiling, will be performing his songs “My Way” and “Imagine” during the event.

This year’s ball is a polyhedron 12 feet in diameter and weighs almost 12,000 pounds.

It is covered with a total of 2,688 triangular crystals of various sizes.

On this occasion, for the first time in the New Year’s Eve celebration, once the well-known theme “New York, New York” plays, the ball will light up again to reflect the bow-tie-shaped patterns and will It will rise to reach the top, above the 2024 numbers, where it will shine throughout the year.
