Follow the tips to increase your body fat burning rate

The body converts food and drink into energy throughout the day, and the body can also convert stored fat into energy.

According to Russia Today, these processes are known as metabolism. But metabolism is not the same for everyone. In fact, what you eat can have a huge impact on how “high” your metabolism is. One doctor has offered three tips on diet and how to “tune” your metabolism to help you burn more fat throughout the day.

In her blog, Dr. Tax Bhatia says how high a person’s metabolic rate is is due to “three” main factors, two of which can be changed depending on the foods you eat.

One such factor is whether or not the energy you take in from food is used to break down other foods or is burned directly. Explain that this is called the “thermal effect” of food.

The other two factors include your basal metabolic rate and the amount of physical activity you get.

Your basal metabolic rate is the amount of energy you naturally break down by doing nothing.

Dr. Bhatia explains that some foods can affect your basal metabolic rate and affect how other foods are used in the body (thermal effect).

She adds that these specialty foods can help you “burn more calories at rest and help with weight loss.”

So, what foods do you recommend to boost your metabolism so you burn more fat?

Dr. Bhatia actually recommends adding three different complementary nutrients to your morning beverage, whether it’s coffee or tea. “If you add the right ingredients, you can stimulate digestion, provide energy to cells, and support metabolism and healthy hormone levels,” he says.

Collagen peptides

Collagen is a protein that the body uses to give it structure, but it can also be taken as a dietary supplement. And it contains amino acids — the building blocks of protein — which can be beneficial for your metabolism.

“Collagen contains amino acids that help convert food into nutrients that fuel cells, which helps boost your metabolism throughout the day,” she explains.

One such chemical is glycine, which the doctor explains is “often lacking” in Western diets.

She added, “Glycine helps with methylation, which is a critical step in converting nutrients from food into energy. This can positively impact metabolism.”

cinnamon

Your doctor recommends adding cinnamon to your morning beverage, as studies have shown that cinnamon can lower blood sugar levels, increase fat burning, and slow inflammation.

One study looked at how the chemical in cinnamon that gives it its scent interacts with human fat cells.

And I found that the fats started forming enzymes that increase the breakdown of fats.

Coconut oil

One final tip is to add coconut oil to your coffee or tea, as coconut oil is another food that contains small chemicals associated with fat burning.

In particular, it contains many medium-chain fatty acids, which studies have shown to increase metabolism.

However, there may be health risks associated with using too much coconut oil, as the oil contains more saturated fat than butter, explains the British Heart Foundation.

Additionally, there is some evidence that drinking a lot of coffee may not be beneficial to some people’s metabolism in the long run.

Coffee increases levels of the stress hormone cortisol in the body, although this effect can vary from person to person. In the short term, a higher level of cortisol has been shown to help increase fat metabolism.

However, some studies indicate that excessive cortisol intake as a result of excessive coffee consumption can lead to increased belly fat and weight gain.
