Al Nassr coach Luis Castro admitted that he really enjoyed working with megastar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Castro took over as head coach of the top Saudi Pro League club at the start of the year after Rudi Garcia was fired. The last name was later taken job of Naples.

For Castro, the Portuguese superstar is the perfect example for footballers today.

“He is the greatest example of success in the world in terms of hard work and discipline,” said Castro, giving his appreciation to the former Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid superstar.

“Do you think he needs me to sue him? No. You don’t need to sue Cristiano. He will do it himself. He gave us precision, discipline and the highest standards, always wanting to win, wanting to shine in front of the world,” he explained.

Ronaldo so far leads the list of Pro League top scorers with ten goals.

“It gives me great pleasure to be the coach of a player who, despite his age, still enjoys football, enjoys training and has fun with his teammates,” continued Castro.

Furthermore, Castro predicts that Ronaldo is still fit enough to once again take part in the 2026 World Cup with the Portuguese national team.

“Cristiano is a man who has confidence, a person whose goals are always with him. Anything can happen,” he concluded.
