The celebration will be on Tuesday the 22nd, with the participation not only of students, but also of their families.
EPES No. 52 “Monona Donkin” Polyvalent Art Center organizes various activities within the framework of Universal Folklore Day, which is celebrated on August 22.
That day there will be the traditional exhibition and tasting of typical and regional foods, a culinary art transmitted from parents to children, by first, second and third year students.
The dishes will be fried cake, stew and roasted to the stake. “What we are looking for is the famous transfer of folklore from father to son, because those who cook stew go with their fathers or grandmothers, they teach how to cook. The same with the other meals, they give them the little secrets”, highlighted Professor Javier Chaparro to the Formosa News Agency (AGENFOR).
The day will also include an open microphone, to promote the values of the institution, who will be able to express their art out loud. In addition, there will be interventions of classical and contemporary dances and the ornamentation of the space will be in charge of Visual Arts.
The teacher announced that on September 9 will be the choreographic exhibition of the institution, with two functions, according to the large number of school participants.
