Folk music will once again fill the towns of Cáceres with rhythm during the month of July with the second edition of the Folk Cáceres cycle of the Cáceres Provincial Council.
The programming will take place from July 9 to 29 in the towns of Aldeanueva del Camino, Arroyomolinos, Casatejada, El Batán, Frenedoso de Ibor, Mohedas de Granadilla, Santa Marta de Magasca, Toril, Torrecilla de los Ángeles and Villamesías.
Ten groups from different parts of Spain will perform at Folk Cáceres and three of them are from Extremadura: Enverea, Milo Ke Mandarini and The Red Folñkey&Co.
The festival will begin on July 9 in Mohedas de Granadilla with Vigüela, who have performed at world-renowned festivals such as Womad UK and in various European countries.
The other bands that will perform in the program are El Naán in El Batán and Milo Ke Mandarini in Fresnedoso de Ibor. The Red Folkey & Co. and Casatejada Muyayos de Raíz will arrive in Santa Marta de Magasca.
Carrión Folk will be in Toril, La Banda Morisca in Arroyomolinos, Entavía in Aldeanueva del Camino and Enverea in Villamesías. The Abrojo Folk festival closes on July 29 in Torrecilla de los Ángeles.
