“Folarin Balogun Chooses to Represent Team USA in Soccer: The Full Story”

Real revelation of the season in Ligue 1 thanks to his loan to Reims, Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun (21) has officially made the decision to represent the United States national team (see here). While he could claim to wear the jerseys of England or Nigeria, the New York native justified his choice.

“My decision to represent the United States was made in agreement with my family. We decided that it was the best thing for me, to represent the country where I was born. In the end, it was became a no-brainer. My mom said, ‘Why did you take so long?’. We were all on the same page. After that conversation, I texted my agent and I I said, ‘Let’s make it happen!'” Balogun told Team USA media.
