P.T., Kojima’s infamous ‘playable teaser’, is not playable on PS5. The game has not been available on PlayStation Store since 2015, but fans who downloaded it before that could still play it.

Journalists with an early PS5 could select and play PT when transferring data from PS4 to PS5 at the end of October. Since then there has been an update that P.T. no longer playable. Upon inquiry, a representative of Sony states that it was “a decision of the publisher”. That means Konami is probably responsible for that.

P.T. is a short horror game that became a huge cult hit. It was basically a free demo teaser for one Silent Hillreboot. In the end, that reboot was canceled and Kojima was also fired by Konami.
