The hastily made Pfizer vaccine against the corona virus still seems to have some concerns. British medicine watchdog MHRA has warned that a certain group of people could develop serious allergic reactions to the vaccine.
Two Britons, both care workers who were injected with the first batch of vaccine, reacted violently to the vaccine and developed severe allergy symptoms. Both were familiar with allergies and had emergency medication with them. The two are now doing better.
The Pfizer vaccine has not been tested on people suffering from various forms of severe allergies, but the MHRA still advises that people with a history of severe allergic reactions should not be able to get a corona vaccine for the time being.
Less than one percent of all persons tested had an allergic reaction. After a vaccination, the British are therefore advised to stay at least 15 minutes.
For now, there is no reason to believe that other underlying suffering could cause problems with the vaccine.
