It was almost a year ago that Anthem was brought onto the market with little success. Bioware looks back on a year in a blog post Anthem and what the future must bring.
“In the past year the team has worked hard to improve the stability, performance and overall quality of life,“says Bioware. The team acknowledges the criticism Anthem and that players expected more from the loot experience, progression and end-game content. Basic work that still needs to be done.
Bioware indicates that this requires more than an update or expansion and more goes towards a reinvention. Over the coming months, the team will be working on a redesign of the long-term experience with the aim of improving the gameplay loop with clear goals, motivational challenges and progression with impactful rewards.
