He was sedated, needles were inserted through the skin around the tumor, then the device was turned on, sending electricity between the needles. The so-called IRE technology, irreversible electroporation, punches holes in the cells so that the tumor dies.
– I’m really happy. My friends who have had other treatments get immediately jealous when I tell them, she says.
