FO supports mobilizations for jobs, working conditions and wages

The FO confederation has repeatedly warned against the risk that the “ whatever the cost “Does not translate into a” whatever the cost to employees ».

The CCN (National Confederal Committee) of FO thus reaffirmed, in its resolution on May 28, the need to impose counterparts, controlled by the public authorities, for public aid from which companies benefit, including “ the prohibition of dismissals and the payment of dividends, bonuses and stock options or any other means of gratification ».

FO supported it throughout the health crisis, when this aid was deployed on a massive scale in the face of the health crisis, not preventing certain companies from closing, deleting, or even relocating, jobs, accompanied by reductions. in question of guarantees in terms of wages and working conditions !

FO warned the government of the need to be particularly attentive in this period of resumption of activity.

However, the confederation is alerted by its unions, national federations and departmental unions of situations – including in the public sector and the civil service – which provoke the legitimate reaction of employees with their unions: at the Aéroports de Paris (ADP) where a notice strike was filed from 1^is July on jobs, wages and working conditions ; to the hotels and casino of Enghien les Bains where a mobilization is launched for June 12, against the announced layoffs and the questioning of the 13^e month ; within the services of the Interdepartmental Roads Directorates where a demonstration is scheduled for June 15 against the transfer of the management of national roads to the regions and departments ; in the company Signify in the Val de Marne where a strike of several days was initiated against a transfer of activity and jobs ; within Keolis in Essonne where several days of strike have just been observed on working conditions and wages ; at Auchan where a mobilization is scheduled for June 18 on wages and working conditions …

The FO confederation, which has the mandate of its CCN to remain mobilized and to work in this direction, for the defense of rights and freedoms, wages, unemployment insurance, pensions, public services, assures the unions of its support. FO and the employees engaged in these actions for their jobs, working conditions and wages, and calls on the public authorities and employers to respond to these legitimate demands.
