In the midst of the economic situation generated by the pandemic, The National Savings Fund announced to its members that it will lower its rates, which will mean reductions in housing loan installments and will facilitate access to credit for Colombians, especially those with lower income.

The decrease in rates applies both to mortgage loans in pesos and UVR for VIS and non-VIS homes, as well as for residential leasing of non-VIS homes. The new rates will be granted upon compliance with the conditions by the applicant.
“To help more Colombians make their dream of owning their own home come true and contribute to the economic reactivation of the country, we have lowered our rates. In this way, we provide our affiliates with access to credit at the best time to buy a home that we have seen in Colombia ”, says María Cristina Londoño Juan, president of the National Savings Fund.
Furthermore, he adds that “This decision translates into cheaper loans and a higher cash flow that improves the quality of life of our members.”
The FNA expanded its service capacity both in terms of channels, schedules and personnel; Y It will continue to advise all its clients on how to apply and access the subsidies that, through the Ministry of Housing, the Duque government has arranged to continue making Colombia a country of homeowners.
It should be remembered that, in 2020, the FNA granted housing loans worth more than 850 billion pesos to about 12 thousand households; and of these, about 70% received some type of subsidy.
