FMoser presents the new three-wheel e-bikes: winning technology

The FMoser brand returns to make itself felt, and this time we see it coming to the market the new three-wheeled bicycles. What does it mean? They don’t really have three wheels, or rather, not mounted at the same time. However, there is the double endowment of the rear one for sale, depending on whether you want to travel in “electric” or with a muscular pedaling.

Let’s go deeper. First of all, we are talking about a great return, after years the brand is finally making people talk about itself again. I’m the bicycles of Francesco Moser, one of the best known and most legendary Italian cyclists. The champion has been collaborating with the company on a commercial and technical level for some time Fantic Motor, well known in Italy. Moser launches a new range of bicycles for its brand that we can define as “transformers”, which can be converted in a very simple and fast way. from electric to muscular and vice versa.

How? Just change the rear wheel and that’s it. In fact, one of the two is equipped with the motor, the other is without, for a normal pedal stroke. It is sufficient to use the right wheel and eventually remove the battery that has been inserted on the down tube. The new patented system is called Dual Mode Systemcompletely innovative and of the latest generation.

New FMoser range: models for sale

The new range of bikes from the champion brand is available in two variants: Corsa (four different versions) e Gravel (two versions). All models are equipped with an FSA HM1 Hub Motor with 42 Nm of torque and a 250 Wh battery. There are five different levels of engine assistance, the system also features a remote control integrated into the top tube, an additional 250 Wh battery that can be placed in the bottle cage and a centrally positioned charging port.

How FMoser’s new electric-non-electric bikes were made

Enrico Fidelfatti, Fantic’s research and development manager, explained: “We looked at the limits of the bikes on the market; non-removable central motor, connectors that must be disconnected by disassembling the headset, batteries that intersect the bottom bracket to be disassembled and much more. All things that make it difficult to use, going from electric to traditional. Hence the patent called Dual Mode System was born, a true union of two worlds: the particular geometry of the frame allows the extraction of the battery between the two sheaths, being able to easily go from being an electric bike to a traditional one and vice versa “.

FMoser, the new range of three-wheeled bicycles

The new “three-wheeled” e-bikes (do you remember those seen in the past?) FMoser have a frame geometry capable of favoring endurance use, ideal over long distances. All models have been conceived and designed not to tire the cyclist. The weight of the bike in the muscle configuration is 7.5 kg. It took well 3 years of research and development to bring the new FMoser to the Italian market. What are the prices list of the new “three-wheeled” technological bicycles? they range from a minimum of 5,500 euros up to a maximum of 11,500 euros for the top-of-the-range versions. The range will be expanded next year, new pedal assisted and traditional models will be added.
