The maritime facade of the triumphal field (FMCT) and the Gabonese Order of Architects signed this Wednesday, April 19, 2023, an agreement for the construction of sustainable and ecological buildings in the city of Gabon.
The maritime facade of the triumphal field which is a development company of the city of Libreville during a workshop on the theme ” building a sustainable city in Gabon » organized at the Sablière, in the north of Libreville, an agreement with the order of architects which aims to « put a framework agreement between the Gabonese architects who are a little over a hundred today and the development company, because we need to collaborate with the Gabonese architects; they need to be solicited, integrated into the reflection of the city of tomorrow”, declared Mr. Edane general manager of the FMCT. This partnership will therefore allow the two parties to lead a reflection aimed at finding a model of a sustainable city to adopt in Gabon. Because Libreville will absorb more inhabitants in the years to come, and we must be able to offer new development areas ».
The prototype of this pilot city will be, according to FMCT, the Baie des Rois, a small modern city with futuristic architecture, which is gradually being built in the heart of Libreville. qFor their part, the order of architects of Gabon stressed that Erichk Mauro Nguema, the president underlines that, it is above all an agreement that will « build mani housesAndre qualitative, within the standards », and in compliance with environmental rules. And to add: It was important that we meet, that we do a work of reflection together and that the populations who are ultimately, must benefit from the quality of their houses, their habitats, their heritage, the State also which must benefit from the quality of a country, from a well-structured environment, it requires expertise which is also within the norm”, made clear Mr. Mauro Nguema ».
The Minister of Public Works Toussaint Nkouma Emane, for his part, noted the advantages of green architecture which has several advantages. In particular, energy savings, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the improvement of air quality which improves the health and well-being of inhabitants.
