FM pioneers celebrate radio

Today the radio offer in Montluçon is rich with nearly thirty radio stations. Why ? Simply because during the liberation of FM in the early 1980s, many free radio stations were created in Montluçon: Radio Allier – Radio 3, Radio Montluçon Bourbonnais, Radio 93 (former name of RJFM), Radio Caroline, Radio Néris frequency, Radio Tartasse, Radio Savigny Verneix etc. Some have disappeared and their frequencies are used by national operators, others have survived and are still in the Montluçonnais radio landscape.
In order to deliver testimonies of the beginnings of FM in Montluçon, radio RJFM is organizing a special program, a set with various actors of the time with photos and some sound clips.
