Flying Tiger Copenhagen fights breast cancer with GEICAM

Flying Tiger Copenhagen is collaborating for another year with the GEICAM Group, a non-profit organisation that fights breast cancer. To raise awareness of this disease, which accounts for more than 36,000 cases per year in Spain, the Danish company is using its special purple and blue mugs.

Both are decorated with the detail of two breasts ending in a heart. In this line, for each cup sold, one euro will be donated to the GEICAM Group. This is how Flying Tiger Copenhagen wants to give visibility to this disease which affects one in eight women in Spain and is the main cause of death in women between 35 and 55 years of age.

This tumor also occurs in men, representing less than 2% of total breast cancer diagnoses in Spain. Thanks to early detection and clinical research, overall survival rate five years after diagnosis is 80%.

The need to support research is evident in these figures, so it is crucial to support initiatives that raise awareness about the disease and highlight the work of organizations such as GEICAMwhich are dedicated to improving the treatments, survival and quality of life of patients. With their solidarity cups, Flying Tiger Copenhagen seeks to make the breasts of affected men and women visible in a striking way for breast cancer, raising social awareness.
