Flydubai announced today that it will start operating regular flights to Mombasa, Kenya, as of January 17, to be the first national carrier to operate direct flights from Dubai and the UAE to this coastal city located in southeastern Kenya.
Flights to Moi International Airport (MBA) will be operated four times a week from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. With this step, flydubai will expand its network in Africa to 11 destinations in 10 countries in Addis Ababa, Alexandria, Asmara, Dar es Salaam, Djibouti, Entebbe, Hargeisa and Juba. Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya, and plays a vital role in the import and export movement, and it serves as a gateway to East Africa that serves not only Kenya, but also its neighboring countries.

The flights will operate from Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport to Moi International Airport (MBA) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, starting January 17, 2024. These flights will be codeshare flights with Emirates Airlines, which provide passengers with flexible options for connecting flights through the international flight hub in Dubai.
