Visitors to the African Safari zoo in Plaisance-du-Touch can watch the cheetah race, from Saturday July 9, every weekend and Wednesday, at 11:30 a.m., in July and August.
#5. Hunt around in garage sales
Garage sales, flea markets, fairs, clearance sales… Summer is always a good time to do good business during this type of gathering. Here is a selection of some of the weekend’s events:
→ Saturday :
• Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges : garage sales at Porte Majou (9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday).
• Toulouse : Saint-Aubin flea market (4 boulevard Jules Michelet, 6am-1pm); Object exchange and book market, cinema posters, CDs, DVDs, vinyls (71 rue du Taur, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.); Forum of 17th century antique dealers with 20th century design (388 avenue des Etats-Unis, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
→ Sunday :
• Toulouse : garage sales, flea market and sale at Lac de Sesquières (8am-5pm).
• Caraman : garage sales and stock market for all collections in the halls, squares and streets (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
• Montrejau : garage sales of the festival committee (boulevard Lassus, from 9am).
• Labarthe Inard : old-fashioned threshing, garage sales and gourmet market.
#6. An outdoor cinema
As is the case during each summer season, the courtyard of the Cinémathèque de Toulouse is transformed into an open-air cinema. Since July 9, films have been regularly offered to viewers. Saturday, the excellent Bullitt by Peter Yates will air at 10 p.m. Sunday, place at the western with The train will whistle three times of Fred Zinnemann.
