Fluide Glacial exhibits at Maghen for its 45 years

An anniversary, the 45th, time flies, that Fluide Glacial will also celebrate by exhibiting some of its legendary authors at the Galerie Daniel Maghen. The Daniel Maghen gallery is devoting an exhibition to the creator of Fluide, Gotlib and to emblematic authors of the magazine, Coyote, Édika, Goossens and Lelong, du 1is to July 25 and then from August 20 to 29, 2020.

The exhibition looks back on the golden age of Fluide Glacial, founded in 1975, “the” benchmark humor magazine carried by the graphic and humorous genius of Gotlib its creator, and by the authors who will associate themselves with this publication. Grand Prix d’Angoulême in 1991, Gotlib is one of the most talented and influential authors of his generation, adored by his peers and by the general public. Forty originals will be presented with superb black and white plates of Rhâ-Gnagna, Superdupont and illustrations of his famous ladybugs.

For motorcycle enthusiasts, there will be around fifty sublime boards and illustrations by Coyote, “The most biker of comic book authors” from his two successful series Litteul Kévin and Mammoth and Piston. The opportunity to admire the talent of this designer who died too soon and his breathtaking inking.
