Flu cases Rise Significantly Across All Regions
Hospitalizations following emergency room visits are particularly concerning among those aged 65 and older, accounting for nearly two-thirds of all acute respiratory infection hospitalizations during the final week of 2024. The SPF report notes that the flu is intensifying “in all age groups” and has reached a “very high level among those under 15,” impacting every region of France.
