Today, the Poniente Health District will carry out the flu vaccination of children between 6 and 59 months, without the need for an appointment, by going directly to the authorized vaccination points. Specifically, childhood flu vaccination will be carried out in five health centers in the region: Roquetas Sur, Ejido Norte, Santa María del Águila, Adra and Vícar.
Health personnel will be available between eight-thirty in the morning and two-thirty in the afternoon and to receive the corresponding dose it will only be necessary to comply with the requirements established in the current vaccination schedule.
The children’s vaccination campaign organized by the Poniente Health District is carried out by nurses from educational centers, who call on the population to become aware of the importance of being protected.
On the other hand, with the objective also of immunizing the target population, the Poniente Health District will administer the flu and covid vaccine on December 16 and 17 without the need to request an appointment at the emergency points of the health centers. health of Roquetas de Mar, Aguadulce, Ejido Norte, Adra, Vícar and Berja, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., for children from 6 months to 5 years and people over 60 years of age and people with risk pathologies.
