REGGIO AND PROVINCE – The Public Health and Hygiene Service offers the population aged 12 and over the possibility of receiving the flu and anti-covid vaccination in direct accesswithout reservation, on the following days:
- a ScandianMonday 18/11 from 2.00pm to 5.30pm at the Blood Testing Center of the Magati Hospital in via Martiri della Libertà, 6;
- a GuastallaTuesday 19/11 from 2.00pm to 5.30pm at the Blood Collection Center of the Civil Hospital in via Donatori di Sangue, 1;
- a CorreggioWednesday 20/11 from 2.00pm to 5.30pm at the District Sampling Center in via Circondaria, 26;
- a Castelnuovo nor MontiThursday 21/11 from 2.00pm to 5.30pm at the headquarters of the Community Paediatrics and Dementia Center in Piazza Marconi, 2/B;
- a Reggio EmiliaFriday 22/11 from 8.30am to 3.00pm at the headquarters of the Public Hygiene Service in the Ziccardi Pavilion in via Amendola 2;
- a MontecchioMonday 25/11 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the “L. Spreafico” in via Saragat, 11.
We take this opportunity to remind you that the anti-covid vaccination it is free for everyone and is administered there single dose of updated Comirnaty vaccine (JN1 variant). We also remind you that at least 3 months must have passed since a previous dose of the anti-Covid vaccine and that any recent Covid infection (positive swab) is not a contraindication to vaccination.
The influenza vaccination is recommended and offered free of charge to:
– people aged 60 or over;
– pregnant women, regardless of gestational age;
– people with chronic pathologies that expose them to a high risk of flu-related complications or hospitalizations;
– family members and contacts of people at high risk of complications (caregivers, home assistants);
– health workers, blood donors, people involved in public services of primary collective interest (law enforcement, civil protection, firefighters, Carabinieri, military and municipal police, pharmacists);
– teachers and staff of nursery schools, nursery schools and compulsory schools;
– public transport, postal and communications staff, emergency health services and public administration employees carrying out essential services;
– personnel who, for work reasons, come into contact with animals (breeding workers, public and private veterinarians, transporters of live animals, slaughterers).
