This Saturday, July 10, Florie Galli announced very bad news to her fans: her family will no longer participate in the program Families large: life in XXL on TF1 at the start of the school year.
The Galli bow out. Present since the launch of Large Families: Life in XXL in July 2020 on TF1, Florie Galli and her family had decided to take a few months off from the show, before returning a little to the antenna. “Shooting can be very tiring and sometimes things happen, like when a child falls or more complicated situations, and maybe we don’t necessarily want to be filmed all the time. We needed to find our intimacy, to stay only between us”had explained the mother of five children to Télé-Loisirs, before adding: “Finally, the images that are shown every day on television nevertheless expose us to quite a bit of criticism. So we end up taking a step back because we are human beings and we are tired of systematically hearing, and above all reading, bad things that are absolutely not true.. But after a first cut, the Galli family finally decided to leave Large Families for good.
During a question-and-answer session organized on her Instagram account this Saturday, July 9, Florie Galli indeed announced to her subscribers their departure from the TF1 program. “There should be a few episodes left at the start of the school year, but these will be the last for us”, she indicated. Their fans will therefore be able to enjoy the little family a little longer, before saying goodbye to them.
Rofrane Bambara forced to leave the show
The Galli are not the first to say stop. Before them, other families announced their departure from the show. This is for example the case of Rofrane Bambara last May. The mother of quadruplets had indeed decided to leave, because of a serious health problem. “One morning, I had my entire right side that I couldn’t move. My eye was closed. My doctor immediately sent me to the emergency room”she had explained, before revealing that the doctors had finally discovered that she had “brain damage”. A situation that had therefore pushed the young woman to make a radical decision. “We need to close our doors”, she concluded. However, TF1 does not rule out bringing the family back to the show once everything is better.
