A Florida woman has been arrested for neglecting her 11-year-old child after she engaged in group sex and drug use in her hotel room when one of the suitors died in bed while the child was right next to her.

Amy Kemper, 32, and her son checked in Saturday night Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa Palm Coast, Florida.
Police say she used drugs and had sex with two older men. On Sunday morning, she called 911 in a panic to report that one of the men was not breathing. The man was later found dead.

The man’s cause of death has not been released, but details of the night were revealed by Sheriff Rick Staley. The sheriff’s office confirmed Kemper’s son was in the room the entire time.
According to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office report, Kemper said she thought the dead man was sleeping and heard him snoring strangely. She then decided to leave the hotel room with the other man, leaving her son in the room for hours. When she returned, the 60-year-old man was dead and her child was there with him.
The camper was charged with child neglect. Her son was taken away by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
The identities of the two men involved have not been released, and it is unclear who the boy’s father is. It is also unclear why her child was in the room with her.
Judging by Kemper Facebook profile, she lived in Illinois, later she moved to Florida. She worked as a manicurist.
In 2015, Kemper was charged with possession of marijuana and released the same day. In 2019, she was charged with another felony, and she was also released the next day.

The sheriff shared a weekend review of the department Facebook page and said: “Last weekend was busy. One woman thought it was okay to bring her child to a hotel in the middle of the night so she could engage in drug use and sexual activity.”
