Haskins trained in Florida with his Pittsburgh Steelers.
After a successful 2018 season at Ohio State University, the Washington Commannders team selected Haskins in the 2019 draft with a total of 15th place. Haskin spent two years on the team in Washington. Before last season, Dwayne signed a contract with the Steelers of Pittsburgh.

The world lost a great person today. When Dwayne first walked into the locker room I could tell he was an upbeat guy. He was always making people smile, never taking life for granted. His impact on me will last a forever.
