Florida: Supermarkets Create Exclusive Hours For Seniors

The majority of the stores assure that they will use the night closure to re-supply and disinfect the premises in depth in order to guarantee the population a safe environment that they can access the next day with the risk of contagion due to the spread of the new coronavirus.

When the current health emergency began, many residents, panicked, went to supermarkets and stores to hoard all the products they found useful in times of crisis.

Thus, for several days, many of these centers have shown an image of desolation. Many times, on their shelves it was impossible to find toilet paper, eggs, milk, disinfectants, pastes or bottled water, among other products.

The new Publix schedule, which now closes every day at 8:00 pm, will be maintained until further notice and it is not ruled out that they continue to adapt the schedules to new circumstances.
