UNITED STATES.- A Florida man allegedly he threw chicken wings at his wife while the couple argued over their alleged “lover,” according to a police report.

The domestic disturbance in Wildwood began Sunday night when Robert Francis Audette39, and his wife began arguing because he apparently had a “mistress.”
The victim reported during the argument that the defendant began asking for some money so that he could go to a local gambling establishment and meet with the ‘lover,'” an officer wrote in the report. “At some point during the argument, the defendant grabbed and threw a box of wings to go.”

The wings flew straight to the woman

Audette was charged with simple assault, a misdemeanor and out on bail from the Sumter County Detention Center Monday afternoon, reported WPLG.
When police arrived, the woman was holding the baby and said she wanted to be taken to a safe place, according to the report.
Audette allegedly admitted to throwing the wings but said he did not mean to hit his wife with them, according to the police report.
The defendant told police that the couple got home when the woman got jealous of another woman with whom he “no longer speaks,” authorities said. She also said that she asked the alleged victim for money so she could go out with friends again.
Similarly, he told police that he only entered the baby’s room to distract his wife so he could retrieve his cell phone, according to the report. He denied threatening to hit her.
