Worm eggs were found inside the brain of a 52-year-old man from Florida who sought treatment for chronic headaches. He sought treatment thinking that the headache that had been going on for months was due to migraine. But during the doctors’ examination, eggs of worms were found inside his brain. A scan revealed multiple cysts on both sides of the brain. It was later discovered that it was pork tapeworm eggs.

He regularly ate half-cooked bacon. Doctors say that this is how eggs of worms formed in his brain. Doctors concluded that by eating bacon cooked like this, the infection may have reached the stomach and it may have turned into worms and formed in other parts of the body.
