A man was arrested on suspicion of installing a concealed camera inside a public rest room on the seaside on Sanibel Island, Florida and recording men and women with it.
Dana Alan Caruso, 58, of New Hampshire, was arrested at Chicago’s O’Hare Worldwide Airport and is awaiting extradition to Lee County Florida, reportedly.
The digicam was found out immediately after a Sanibel upkeep employee seen what appeared like a new suspicious hearth alarm in the lavatory on July 28, according to WCVB.
Sanibel policemen received a lookup warrant to probe the contents of the alarm and uncovered a digital camera inside of.
They later on connected the unit to Caruso and discovered it in Chicago on August 19.
Cops claimed numerous men and women were registered within the toilet and requested anyone browsing Bowman’s Seaside to get hold of them in situation they were victims.
“We would like to detect the victims of this crime so that further expenses against the suspect can be viewed as,” explained Sanibel Police Chief William Dalton.
Dalton urged law enforcement departments in neighboring communities to check out beach restrooms for equivalent units.
