A Florida Dunkin’ Donuts employee was left with burns on her face after an incident involving an angry customer who threw hot coffee at her, according to local police.

Incident at New Port Richey Dunkin’ Donuts

The New Port Richey Police Department responded to an incident at a Dunkin’ Donuts on US Highway 19, which occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, police learned that an employee at the Dunkin’ Donuts had provided a customer with an extra cup of coffee for free. However, the customer became irate for reasons that were unspecified.

The situation escalated when the customer threw the hot cup of coffee directly at the employee’s face, resulting in the employee’s skin blistering.

Law enforcement authorities are currently actively searching for the suspect involved in the incident. In an effort to receive assistance from the public, the police department has shared several images of the suspect on social media.

Based on the available images, the suspect appears to be driving a silver four-door SUV and has distinguishing features such as short dark hair, a beard, a mustache, and a soul patch underneath his lip.

The New Port Richey Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect to come forward and provide assistance.

The Fox Business team reached out to Dunkin’ Donuts for a comment, but as of now, the company has not responded.
