Florian Zimmer sued by Event Manager in court.

A Munich event manager demands almost a quarter of a million euros from the Ulm magician Florian Zimmer. The process for this began on Friday at the Ulm district court. If the court decides against Zimmer in the end, he could lose the rights to his show “Ulmglaublich”.

Around 40 spectators came to the start of the process, because in addition to Florian Zimmer, another celebrity testified about the case: pop star Nino de Angelo. He testified in court for around 15 minutes on Friday. de Angelo could only remember a few details.

When Florian Zimmer entered the courtroom this Friday morning, the audience began to applaud vigorously. The magician’s fans stand behind him. There are also some journalists among the spectators, not only from Ulm. Because the process has already been reported in detail in the Munich tabloid press. Event manager Michael Ecker is no stranger there and often makes the headlines.

The accusation: The two men are said to have agreed on a deal at the topping-out ceremony of Florian Zimmer’s magic theater in Neu-Ulm, in which Zimmer promised the Munich event manager a commission for those performances that Ecker arranged for Zimmer. But according to Zimmer, this deal never happened.

Since Ecker had the rights for the show “Ulmglaublich” secured, Zimmer could be one show poorer at the end of the process – and around a quarter of a million euros.
