Florian Van Acker made in Rio for one of the five Belgian Paralympic titles. “That the Games have been postponed for a year, I think a good thing,” he surprised when leaving for Tokyo. “This I can work an extra year and the more exercise, the better.”
“I’ll see if I’m as good shape as in Rio, but the aim is always to win. If I exercise, I want to win.”
Van Acker will have to do without the cheers of the crowd. “That does not interest me. Only my game interests me.”
