Blue lights, vehicle premieres, innovations, operational exercises, test drives, drone squadrons, rescue dogs, aptitude tests and next level gaming – the Florian trade fair (October 12th to 14th) at Messe Dresden presents current innovations, technologies and concepts for the fire department, THW, rescue services and disaster control before.
The presentation by the 350 exhibitors from eleven countries ranges from new vehicles to decontamination and, for startups, from firefighting drones to firefighting systems for electric vehicles.
The east of Germany is a forest fire country – many and very large fires in the summer of 2022 required long and difficult operations by the fire brigade, especially in Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony. That’s why this topic will play a role again.
The State Ministry’s stand will explicitly deal with the topic of fighting forest fires and vegetation fires. The latest technology from the forest fire disaster units is shown here.
Visitors to the trade fair can look forward to demonstrations – from the drone demonstration to technical assistance to the rescue dog team.
New to the “Florian” is the opportunity to test drive quads and ATVs. The Dresden Fire Department provides information about training in all career groups and offers aptitude tests for fire chiefs and emergency paramedics.
